Today I was on a walk and the sun was shining for the first time in a week — and then, like magic, it started to snow! It was like the clouds were making their own confetti. (Then I came back to school and practiced. Need I mention this?)
There are fourteen days until break, and one of them will feature my explosion. I can feel it.
Here’s the thing: I love being at a school where academics are a very real option, and I love being in a place where I can be confident of having a conversation about the dynamic and rhythmic issues of a Milde etude, as well as the narrative style of One Hundred Years of Solitude. That said, I do not have time for all of this homework!
Or maybe I just don’t have time for sleep. Speaking of which, my bed is calling my name.
